Private
Sector Incentives
In recent years, the State of Indiana has created one of the most
business-friendly environments in the country. New and expanded
economic development programs aimed at growing the state’s
corporate base is key to that success.
Bingham McHale’s deep understanding of state government
enables our attorneys help business clients identify, analyze and
pursue government incentives. We also assist private entities accessing
and implementing financing options made available through public
sector entities.
We perceptively represent clients’ interests before regulatory
and administrative bodies in hearings regarding rate-making, rule-making,
gaming, licensing, alcoholic beverage regulation, property taxes,
permitting, environmental matters and other issues arising at the
federal, state and local government levels.
Our role representing a private client in connection with a government
agency is most effective when we are involved in the early planning
of a project. This positions us to offer clients a resolution that
fully leverages our experience, knowledge and innovation.
For site selection and certain state and local incentives, our
attorneys also partner with the firm’s subsidiary, Bingham
Economic Development Advisors.
